THE CHS APPROACH

Underlying the CHS educational approach is the belief that the early childhood and elementary years are crucial to a child’s educational journey.

We are unique in our singular focus on childhood education – in our ability to highlight the joys and guide through challenges “in the moment,” and in our ability to build a strong foundation for growth after CHS. When we give children permission to embrace childhood, we plant the seeds for a lifetime of curiosity, empathy, and love of learning.

Program Highlights

Our program intentionally incorporates a number of cross-disciplinary learning opportunities that guide our students in a multi-year progression toward becoming skilled learners, empathetic classmates, and empowered thinkers.

Our curriculum is designed to develop a core set of skills in our students, using a logical progression from year to year.

We have been impressed with the availability of the teachers at CHS. Being a part of the CHS community makes us feel that there is an entire team looking out for the best interests of our children and our family. The teachers have highlighted areas for improvement and helped us find the best resources to support making these improvements. Jennifer & Matthew N.
