We are committed to offering and creating gift opportunities that are meaningful to you and your family. We strive to ensure that every philanthropic relationship with the school starts and remains a positive and impactful experience.

Giving Opportunities

Your gift can be used to benefit the area of greatest need, or can be directed to a specific area or project that holds meaning for you.

CHS Fund

To achieve our mission, grounded in our four guiding principles, we rely on the CHS Fund (formerly called the Annual Fund) to support needs throughout the school year. Giving to the CHS Fund presents a moment where all of us can come together and an opportunity where collective gifts have a big impact. Gifts to the CHS Fund provide in-depth support to our educational programming, faculty resources, facilities and grounds and financial aid.

Curtis Timothy Memorial Fund

The Curtis Timothy Memorial Fish Tank was installed to honor the memory of Curtis Timothy who passed away in April 2020. Curtis was a beloved member of the CHS community for 25 years, having built strong relationships with students, staff, and families. Curtis took pride in meticulously tending to the grounds, plants, and flowers on campus, and had a love of fishing and tropical fish. This fund supports the required monthly maintenance for a 150-gallon tank and the living fish inside – a cherished experience for the CHS community.

Endowment

Special Projects

CHS has a need for facilities updates and grounds care of our beautiful campus in the charming and historic neighborhood of Chestnut Hill. Projects range from $40,000-$100,000 and are considered legacy gifts to the school. We will work closely with you to find the project that is meaningful to you and your family. If you are interested in leaving a legacy gift to the school, please contact Florence DiJohnson in the Development Office.

Matching Gifts

Gifts-In-Kind

Contributions of tangible personal property may offer you a tax deduction. All gifts-in-kind to the school will be credited on the basis of value provided by the donor (or fair market value if an appraised value is not provided). Gifts-in-kind include donations of event support/equipment, books, real estate and other non-monetary contributions. CHS reserves the right to preview the condition of the gift before accepting it.
