Chestnut Hill School of Music

student playing string instruments

The Chestnut Hill School of Music offers a robust music instruction program for students in the CHS community.

Students can choose from private lessons and ensembles in strings, percussion, guitar, piano, and voice. Our instructors have professional affiliations with the New World Symphony, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, Boston College, Boston Conservatory, and Shidaa African Culture Project. Our students benefit from their instructors' individualized teaching methods and genres of expertise.

Students have the option of participating in one or two recitals offered during the year (December and June). Lessons take place after school on the CHS campus.  Students must register for Extended Day to cover the day of their lesson.

We encourage everyone to participate in the joy of music-making!
