Extended Day and Enrichment Programs

The Chestnut Hill School offers after school options for families who would like after school care, or for students who want additional enrichment in an area of interest to them.

Extended Day

We are pleased to offer an after school care program for students in Beginners through Grade 6. The Chestnut Hill School Extended Day program offers fun activities and games, a quiet space to complete homework, outdoor play, and enrichment programs. Throughout the afternoon, students have a balance of structured, thematic activities, quiet time to complete homework, and time to play and socialize. This flexible schedule allows for students to enjoy cross-age experiences and explore interests outside the classroom.

Extended Day is offered five days a week, and goes until 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and 3:00 or 5:00 p.m. on Friday

In addition to the afternoon Extended Day program, CHS offers early morning care by special registration to all students from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

This group is led by "Mr. Evan" Haller (former CHS teacher and a long-time private music teacher). No experience is necessary. We've got the extra guitars, keyboards, drums, and basses but students must bring the heart, soul, and desire to ROCK!!!

Soccer Club is taught by CHS staff member Hillary Despotovski.  This enrichment course will hone in on skills that you can take onto team games like passing, kicking, and dribbling amongst other skills.

Students will learn together in a supportive environment the principles of balance, posture, discipline, left and right-hand coordination, fine motor skills, and go from A, B, C to Twinkle over the course of the school year.
