How to Apply
Online Application Form
CHS uses Ravenna Hub (https://www.ravenna-hub.com/login) for our application process. You may create an account and complete all application steps through this portal. The online Application for Admission form should be completed no later than January 18. It must be submitted before an admissions interview can be scheduled. The non-refundable application fee is $55. After January 18, applications will be considered on a rolling basis where space allows. Please contact us with any questions.
Admission Committee Decisions/Notification
All decisions are sent out on March 10, 2022 in accordance with AISNE guidelines.
As part of the admission process, we evaluate the information gathered from the parent/guardian meeting and student evaluation video/chat, as well as prior school records (if applicable), the AISNE evaluation form, and the family history form (part of the online application). We do not require recommendations but will place them in the applicant’s file if received. Our Admission Committee seeks to identify applicants for whom The Chestnut Hill School is the right fit both socially and academically. We are a school that lives its mission on a daily basis and look for families that will embrace our mission.
If your child is placed on the waitlist, this is considered an acceptance to the school, pending space. We require that Families return the waitlist survey letting us know if they would like to remain on our waitlist. We have no way of knowing what movement (if any) there may be on the waitlist. Adjustments can be made as late as July if a space becomes available. Candidates on the waitlist are not in any specific order but rather make up a pool of qualified students. If your child is placed on the waitlist and you choose to apply again the following year, you must complete the entire admission process again. All applicants must complete the entire process each year they apply.
