The counselor-in-training program provides opportunities for students entering ninth and tenth grade to teach and supervise younger campers as apprentice counselors. CITs are under the supervision and direction of experienced professional educators. CITs make choices and structure their schedules based on their interests and talents. Weekly meetings provide feedback and guidance. Enrollment Options: Session I & II, Session III & IV, or both. CITs will be assigned to either the CHS campus or PMC (Pine Manor College) campus.

$750 per four-week block

2nd year CITs
$410 per four-week block

CIT Application Procedure

1. New and returning CITs must submit a CIT Application, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or past camp counselor. If the applicant is a past CHS camper, the letter of recommendation can be from a CHS counselor.
2. An interview is required, and the CIT director will contact each applicant to schedule an appointment once we receive your CIT application.
3. Upon acceptance to the program, CITs must complete the registration packet which includes: Registration Form, Health History Form, Deposit of $300 (full tuition if received after March 1)
