On June 8, 2012 The Chestnut Hill School celebrated its Grade 6 graduation.

The ceremony began with the passing of the CHS banner to the current Grade 5 class. Grade 6 advisors then placed leis on the Grade 6 students as they entered the gym and proceeded to the stage. Highlights of the ceremony included giving of gifts to the graduates from their Kindergarten reading partners, a song selection from their recent musical, the bestowing of several individual awards, and the graduation speeches of each student. As the diplomas were given and the children left the gym for the last time, the CHS bell rang out in celebration for each child. Our graduates are proud to be heading off to their next schools which include: Beaver Country Day School, Belmont Hill School, Boston Latin School, Brookline Public School, Dana Hall School, Fessenden School, Milton Academy, Milton Public School, Newton Country Day School, Noble and Greenough School, Roxbury Latin School, Shady Hill School, St. Sebastian’s School and Westwood Public School.
