Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
We are happy to announce the appointment of Nathan Muehleisen as the new Pre-Kindergarten Teacher beginning in the 2007-08 school year. Mr. M. comes to CHS with experience as an early childhood teacher at Park Street Kids in Boston. He has also been an art teacher at Natick High School, Nipmuc High School and Randolph High School. Mr. Muehleisen has a BFA from Framingham State College and is completing course work at Massachusetts College of Art to earn a MS in Art Education. In his spare time, Mr. M. is an avid bicyclist.

Beginners Teacher
We would also like to introduce you to Jessica Weiner, the new Beginners Teacher who will work with Kerry Halgin. Ms. Weiner has a BA in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters of Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. She is a former Belmont Day School apprentice teacher and for the last two year has worked at Buckingham Brown and Nichols School in the Kindergarten classroom.

Art Teacher
Melody Bartlett actually worked for the summer camp here for two summers in the Intermediate Division led by Kristine Crugnale. Most recently she has been an intern and an assistant teacher at the Park School. She is familiar with our community and independent schools in general. Melody earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art and has won many awards for her own art.
