For over one hundred and forty years, The Chestnut Hill School elementary school has been the root of life-long learners in Boston Massachusetts. Here at CHS we live our mission of academic excellence, diversity, and community. These three tenets weave their way through all aspects of daily life at the school, and are proudly shown by the accomplishments of our graduates and the commitment of our faculty and staff.

As with any independent school, tuition does not cover the actual cost to run the school. In fact, the actual cost to educate a child is $2750 above and beyond the yearly tuition. At CHS, tuition covers 80% of the budget and the remaining 20% come from other sources such as summer camp, afterschool, endowment income, and the Annual Fund – our single largest source of revenue outside tuition.
