Ice Chips Performance

On Saturday evening, April 5th, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students had an extraordinary opportunity to represent The Chestnut Hill School at Harvard University during The 2008 Ice Chips: Show of Champions, which featured world champion Kurt Browning, Olympian Emily Hughes, international medalist Steven Carriere, and many talented local skaters. Under the direction of Ms. Hughes, forty-five upper-school students performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "Spirits," a song written by a sixth grader. The students performed with great passion and professionalism, winning the admiration and respect of participating skaters and event coordinators. Many thanks to Wing Cheung, Carrie Danforth, Deb Sullivan, several members of the after-school staff, and family volunteers who helped throughout the day and evening. Way to go CHS Chorus!

Classroom Newsletters

As of the new year, classroom newsletters will be available to read online instead of being in PDF format. You will still receive an email from the school on Friday afternoons, but the email will contain a link to go to the online newsletters site instead of an actual PDF attachment.
