Since starting this blog a few years ago I've hesitated to use it as an index to articles and resources elsewhere on the internet. That said, well aware that there are many great ideas out there, I'm considering shifting my emphasis a bit. Last month I encountered a beautifully provocative piece in The New York Times and subsequently discovered an online commentary called The Stone, self-described as a forum "featuring the writing of contemporary philosophers on issues both timely and timeless." The following article raises profoundly interesting issues about the biological and social origins of human nature.
