A Tradition of Generosity
The tradition of generosity at CHS dates back to 1863, when Thomas Lee deeded the original building and property as a gift to the school community. Today CHS community members commit themselves no less strongly.
In addition to volunteering their time supporting various aspects of the School, families, alumni, faculty, staff and others contribute to the Annual Fund, Endowment, and to various events sponsored by the Family Association. We strive for strong participation among all constituents.
Mission-Driven
Gifts raised by Chestnut Hill School’s development efforts support CHS in carrying out our mission: academic excellence, community and diversity. The Chestnut Hill School welcomes gifts of cash, securities, and other forms of property to defray general operating costs, to help build CHS’s endowment, and to assist in a variety of special purposes that reflect both the needs of CHS and the interests of its donors.
