Participation
Each year, The Chestnut Hill School asks all members of its community to participate in and support the School by making a tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund. Annual Fund gifts, of all sizes, are critical and go a long way toward supporting the fundamental operations of the School.
What the Annual Fund Does
Providing 6% of the School’s revenue, the Annual Fund serves as a source of funding to:
- Support faculty and staff enrichment, including salaries and professional development,
- Provide financial aid to families in need,
- Maintain and improve campus facilities and equipment, and
- Support rigorous academic programs and diverse offerings in arts and athletics.
As with any independent school, tuition does not cover all of the expenses associated with providing a CHS education. With tuition supporting approximately 70% of the actual cost, the Annual Fund helps close the gap between tuition and what it costs CHS to educate each student.
Giving Societies
Gifts of all sizes make a difference…deep and broad participation truly matters at CHS. Leadership gifts of $1,000 or more comprised over 90% of all gifts to last year’s Annual Fund and we invite you to participate at a level that is meaningful to you.
