Welcome the New Facilities Manager - Elias Sayeg

CHS is pleased to welcome Elias Sayeg as the new Facilities Manager for the school. Elias comes to the Chestnut Hill community highly recommended by Elton Matos, who is leaving CHS for a new job at Meadowbrook. Prior to coming to CHS, Elias worked at a Newton nursing home in the facilities department. In addition to his expertise with building maintenance and repair, Elias tinkers with cars as a hobby. Elias lives in Brighton with his wife,Tereza and son, Nicholas. Please say hello whenever you see him around our campus. You'll recognize him by his generous spirit, easygoing nature, and bright smile.

March Parent/Teacher Conferences

March Conferences (Beginners-Grade 5)

March Parent/Teacher Conferences start tomorrow Thursday, March 2nd and Friday, March 3rd for Beginners-Grade 5. More details on the sixth grade conference week in April will follow.

Announcing a new coffee station at CHS

The new coffee station is located in the alcove off of the upper lobby, guests and families should feel welcome to help themselves to coffee, tea, and water.  Enjoy!

6th Grade Basketball Tournament

Congratulations to the CHS players and coaches for who had an exciting 6th grade basketball tournament on Saturday, February 25th at The Meadowbrook School.  Both the boys and girls teams played extremely well against three tough opponents.  This year the CHS girls basketball team took first place following a two dramatic overtime periods against The Fay School.  The CHS boys team, despite a gritty defensive presence, came away in fourth place.  We are very proud of of both teams!!

CHS Summer Camp

Registration is still open for The Chestnut Hill School Summer Camp.  To find out more about the programs offered visit  Families may register camper(s) for one or more sessions of the eight-week Creative Arts and Sports Camp and/or one or more of the following specialty camps: Micro-STEAM, STEAM, Math, Robotics.  After May 1st, if space allows, half-sessions (one week) are made available in the Creative Arts and Sports Camp to families meeting the one-session minimum requirement.
