From the Director of Admission

A warm welcome to the Chestnut Hill School. I have been part of this incredible community for 30 years. We take great pride in an admission process with continuous personal touch. Our relationship with applicant families is highly valued and strongly nourished.

I am delighted that you are interested in our school.  We are a school grounded in our history, having just celebrated our 150th anniversary. Our community is deeply committed to the three tenets of our mission:  academic excellence, diversity and community.

The Chestnut Hill School enrolls 272 students in our Beginners Program (Age 3) through Grade 6. We draw from over 30 communities in the Boston area. Our students, families, and faculty represent many backgrounds and cultures. The CHS experience provides academic rigor, social growth, ongoing leadership opportunities, and extracurricular programs.
